JISAR: The Journal of
Information Systems Applied Research

JISAR is the Journal of Information Systems Applied Research. JISAR publishes articles deemed to be of journal quality from among those submitted to CONISAR, the Conference on Information Systems Applied Research.

Journal: ISECON is affiliated with ISEDJ, the Information Systems Education Journal (http://isedj.org/), a peer-reviewed academic journal sponsored by EDSIG. Most of the top papers among those presented at ISECON are accepted for inclusion in ISEDJ.

JISAR expects to begin publication in November or December of 2008.


JISAR and CONISAR are sponsored by EDSIG, the Education Special Interest Group of AITP, the Association of Information Technology Professionals. The webmaster is Dr. Don Colton, a faculty member in Computer and Information Systems at Brigham Young University Hawaii. EDSIG also publishes JISE, the Journal of Information Systems Education, ISEDJ, the Information Systems Education Journal, and participates in ISECON, the Information Systems Education Conference. EDSIG is also a proud sponsor of ISUMC, the Information Systems Undergraduate Model Curriculum project lead by Dr. Herbert Longenecker.
